This is the latest operating system version for the PCR-300/500/800. After downloading and extracting the compressed file, please refer to the “PCR_Update_Procedure” pdf document included for the update procedure.
Note
This update is via MIDI; therefore, a MIDI sequencer is required to transfer the SMF files to the PCR-300/500/800. Please note that certain sequencers may not be able to play back large amounts of system exclusive messages. Wed Mar 19, 2: Mon Oct 24, It’s has been a trusty old unit that sits off on the side , but is used when we need an extra knob or slider control. Tried to reinstall drivers. Thanks for any help?

Too bad, I think its a nice product. What I managed to get working then Wed Feb 18, 4: Could it be something else I am missing?
Sep 23, 1: Maybe there is a turnaround: Thu Oct 20, I had to redo the controller mappings which was a little pain but all is good now. All the controls are ok with Logic? Reply Helpful Thread reply – more options Link to this Post.

Wed Mar 19, 2: I deleted the midi setup I had that supported the Edirol specific maps and then changed the settings as indicated above and the PCR works now.
Oct 9, You do need a Mmac driver. Sun Oct 23, 2: Any OS X Mon Oct 24, That was the only one I could find, other than the link I gave. I’ve heard the Roland is impossible to get hold of.
However, that’s the one he mentioned that he already has.
