Can’t believe how tiny the scanner is just two handful. This is the 2nd scan snap I have purchased. This is my second S series scanner.

I recommend placing one paper at a time before starting it. I agree with all the five star comments as to the qualities of this machine.

It appears, and is, very robust so far – I have input about sheets so far without problem.

It hasn’t caused me any problems when doing large documents and has been easy to use even for a none techie. I really love my new scanner.

i don't have a scansnap, but i gotta say that's an awesome solution! well done!

Awesome! One minor note: Even after restarting, the Japanese version did not want to install.
After a quick Spotlight search I found the culprit:
I had to go to /Library/Receipts to kill the ScanSnap receipt, and all was good in the world of one-tap scanning.

Thanks for that bit of info, that was holding my install up too!
On a more general note - I am really disappointed at fujitsu for trying to monetize on their us customers by making separate mac and pc versions. On top of this, if you lost the CD for some reason you can't download the PC drivers online. You have to email customer support and wait a few hours to get a special web password to get the drivers again. I just wasted 2 hours of my life trying to get this scanner to work on my PC and then finally having to do this hack fix procedure on the mac. I am happier now though since I primarily use mac so the only reason I had a PC in the office even was to scan my docs!
